Shivesh Kumar

Shivesh Kumar currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Chalmers University of Technology since October 2023 and has been a Senior Researcher at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since October 2015, holding positions as Team Leader of Mechanics and Control and Researcher, focusing on projects such as the RECUPERA full body exoskeleton for rehabilitation and human-robot collaboration in the BILATERAL project. Prior experience includes a Master's degree in Control Engineering, Robotics, and Applied Informatics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal, and various internships that enhanced expertise in robotics, mechanical design, and dynamics. Shivesh completed a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Bremen, further solidifying a strong academic and research foundation in advanced robotics and control systems.
