Vaibhav Jain

Vaibhav Jain is a dedicated student researcher currently affiliated with Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since January 2023 and has also contributed to the University of Saarland from April 2023 to September 2023. Previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, where Vaibhav developed a system for Non-Verbal Behavior Generation in virtual agents and implemented the SAIBA architecture. At BCAM - Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, Vaibhav interned on the Importance Weighing Empirical Risk Minimization method, analyzing real-world data. A research internship at Delhi University involved creating a dataset of news articles and developing a classification system that achieved an accuracy of 87%. Additionally, as a Project Mentor in the CIC Robotics Internship Program, Vaibhav guided a team in developing a swarm localization method. Vaibhav Jain holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Mathematics from Delhi University.
