Lisa Katayama

Lisa Katayama is a strategic leader with extensive experience in consultancy, nonprofit management, journalism, and education. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Digital Garage US, Inc., and a Board Member at kindness.org, Katayama focuses on innovative strategies and fostering kindness. Previously, Katayama held the position of Principal at SYPartners, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships. As Creative Director and Senior Strategist at MIT Media Lab, Katayama developed the Director's Fellows Program, collaborating with prominent figures like Joi Ito and Reid Hoffman. Katayama also founded The Tofu Project, a nonprofit fostering cross-cultural connections, and contributed to various publications as a journalist, with a popular blog, TokyoMango.
