Richard Steel

Richard Steel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in European affairs, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at DGA Group since March 2023. As the Founder of Archimede Consultancy, established in 1989, Richard responded to the increasing need for comprehensive insights into the European Parliament's committees, evolving the firm to specialize in parliamentary advisory services. Prior to this, Richard was a Senior Associate at Interel European Affairs from March 2010 to March 2023, providing strategic advice on significant EU institutional developments and their impact on various sectors, including energy and environment. Richard holds a Diplome in Political Science and Government from the College of Europe and a Master of Arts in Western European Studies from the University of Dundee, along with prior education at Oundle and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
