Ryno Bakkes

Ryno Bakkes serves as General Manager at DGB (Pty) Ltd since December 2018, where responsibilities include leading hospitality and customer experience, as well as managing the company's Brand Homes, which encompass Franschhoek Cellar, Brampton Wine Studio, Old Road Wine Co., and Fryer’s Cove. Prior to this role, Ryno held the position of Operational Director at The Aleit Group from November 2011 to October 2018, contributing to the development of operational strategies and overseeing marketing functions as Director of Aleit Venues. Ryno began at The Aleit Group as a Sales & Marketing Executive in 2011, handling client inquiries and budget proposals. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from Stellenbosch University and an MBChB 1 from the University of the Free State, complemented by a National Senior Certificate from Marlow Agricultural High School.
