James Duszlak has had a diverse range of roles in the field of audiovisual technology. James began their career in 2004 as an AV IT Technician at Bay Path College, where they worked until 2006. After that, they joined Quinsigamond Community College as a Lead Audio Video Technician, a position they held for a decade until 2018. In 2017, James started their own business, JMD AV LLC, where they served as the Managing Owner. Currently, they are working as an AV Project Engineer at DGI Communications, a position they have held since December 2018. James has earned several certifications throughout their career, including CTS-D, CTS-I, DMC-D, and DSCE.
James Duszlak, CTS-D, CTS-I, DMC-D, DSCE, holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Worcester State University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Video & Audio Production from the New England Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2003.
In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise in the field. These certifications include Dante Certification Level 3, Digital Signage Certified Expert, Digital Media Certified Designer 4K, Dante Certification Level 2, Dante Certification Level 1, Certified Technology Specialist - Installation, Extron Control Specialist, Certified Technology Specialist, and Certified Technology Specialist - Design. James obtained these certifications from various reputable institutions such as Audinate, Digital Signage Experts Group, Crestron Electronics, InfoComm International, and Extron Electronics, with dates ranging from 2012 to 2019.
