Lena Birkner

Lena Birkner is currently a Werkstudentin at DGNB German Sustainable Building Council, contributing to the national research project Urban Factory II, supporting the initiative for climate-positive cities and communities, and assisting with the certification of sustainable neighborhoods. Prior to this role, Lena worked as a Werkstudentin in the field of future fields and innovation at Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar and gained experience as a Praktikantin in project management at Artemed SE. Lena is pursuing a Master of Science in Planning and Participation at the University of Stuttgart, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Public Law from the University of Mannheim. Additionally, Lena participated in an exchange program at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
