John Belfontaine

John Belfontaine is the CEO of DGTL Holdings. John has also been the founder of Phivida and has been with the company from August 2013 to March 2022. Their previous company was PRIME Wire Inc.

John has also worked with Empire Life from June 2008 to September 2009 as an Assistant Product Manager (Retail Wealth). Some of their key achievements include spearheading the 1st holistic financial literacy program targeting key underserved retail markets and designing, developing and launching product innovations (R&D, distributor training and promotion).

At Empire Life, John was responsible for leading an interdepartmental Retail Wealth Marketing Team (executive, coordination, market analyst, web/graphic designers, translation, actuarial, administrative assistants, media providers). John also proposed and presented program concepts to key executives, directors and stakeholders.

John Belfontaine has completed the Canadian Securities Course, and has a B.A. (hons) in Marketing and Communications from McMaster University. John also has an Investment Funds of Canada certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute.
