Ramsay Short has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2007, they worked as an Editor & Co-Publisher at Ink - we are travel media, where they were responsible for editorial content. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at UltraVilla, first as a Consulting Editor and later as the Editorial Director. At UltraVilla, they played a key role in creating and editing editorial content for the luxury rental consultancy. In 2016, they also worked as an Editorial Director at Aishti, a luxury fashion magazine, where they oversaw editorial strategy and managed the editorial team. Additionally, Ramsay Short worked as a Consulting Editor at 71% The Superyacht Life Magazine, published on behalf of the Superyacht Builders Association, from 2015 to 2016. Ramsay also had a brief freelance consulting role at GLG in 2016. More recently, Ramsay held positions at DHARMA as Editor In Chief, Leap as a Leap Meets Leader, Kentish Town Vegbox as a Member Board Of Directors, and Collège Français Bilingue de Londres (CFBL) as a Member Board Of Trustees, where they were involved in educational initiatives.
Ramsay Short completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from The University of Edinburgh, which they attended from 1994 to 1998. Ramsay then pursued further studies at the London School of Economics in 1999, where they obtained an MA with Merit in History of International Relations. In the following year, from 2000 to 2001, they attended the London College of Printing (now LCC) and achieved a Masters with Distinction in Print Journalism.
