George Kanuck

George Kanuck is a seasoned professional in regulatory compliance and operational risk management, currently serving as a Senior Compliance Analyst at DHI Mortgage since October 2018. In this role, George directs reporting and investigations related to loan origination regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to state and federal laws such as TRID, Fair Lending, HMDA, and RESPA. Prior to this, George held leadership positions at CIT Bank, where responsibilities included establishing a new Operational Risk department and developing risk assessment analytics. George also contributed to consumer support and reporting at OneWest Bank and KVUE Media Group, where expertise in meteorology was demonstrated. George earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Computer Science from Cornell University.
