Lisa M. Gutting

Lisa M. Gutting has a diverse background in arts education and community development, currently serving as the Senior Arts Education Program Officer at The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation since March 2018. Additionally, Lisa is a Board Member at St. Nicks Alliance and has been a Dia Educator & Gallery Guide at Dia Art Foundation since 2013. As the Owner/Artist of Girl of the North Country, Inc. since 2004, Lisa has also held various roles in arts organizations, including Director of Community Development and Education at The Acting Company and Teaching Artist positions at Community~Word Project and VSA Arts/New York. Lisa’s educational credentials include a Master of Education in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from PennWest Edinboro.
