Amira Howari

Amira Howari is a dedicated health professional with extensive experience in optometry and diabetes care. Currently, Amira serves as a Board Member for the Primary Care Diabetes Society of Australia and is an active member of the Diabetes and Endocrine Network with the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation. As a KeepSight Ambassador and a Diabetes Australia Ambassador, Amira advocates for diabetes management and patient awareness. With a robust background in clinical optometry and leadership roles, including Principal Clinical Optometrist at Bailey Nelson and Professional Service Manager at George & Matilda Eyecare, Amira combines clinical expertise with motivational speaking and health industry engagement. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Optometry and a Bachelor of Optometry (Honours) from the University of New South Wales.
