Alison Shepperd

Alison Shepperd is an experienced Project Planning Engineer currently working at Diamond Light Source since April 2015, supporting multiple software and beam line research projects. Alison's previous roles include Project Planning Engineer at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, where project planning and coordination for high power laser and neutron scattering instruments were key responsibilities. Alison has also worked extensively as a Ski Instructor at Glycerine International Ski School and Swiss Mountain Sports Ski School, providing lessons for all abilities. Additionally, Alison has a background in personal training and holistic therapies, holding various qualifications in Reiki, Ayurveda, and sports massage therapy, alongside a BSc(Hons) in Engineering Science from Edinburgh University.
