Kirsty Syder

Kirsty Syder is a Senior Research Data Manager at Diamond Light Source since March 2023. Previously, Kirsty served as a Senior Research Applications Developer at Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) from November 2017 to September 2022, where Kirsty led projects focused on developing SQL database pipelines and identifying patients for clinical trials, and managed a team comprising a Research Software Developer and a Data Scientist. Prior to CPRD, Kirsty worked as a Software Developer at marketingQED and held Graduate Teaching Assistant positions at both the University of Cambridge and The University of Nottingham. Kirsty earned a Master of Mathematics (MMath) in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
