Matt Jones

Matt Jones is a seasoned recruitment and human resources professional with extensive experience in the scientific and technology sectors. Currently serving as Talent Resourcing Manager at Diamond Light Source since September 2019, Matt is responsible for forming and managing a Recruitment team dedicated to sourcing STEM and professional support staff, particularly for the significant £500M Diamond-II upgrade project. Prior to this role, Matt was the Recruitment Manager at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) from July 2014 to September 2019, overseeing a team focused on end-to-end recruitment for STEM positions. Additional experience includes an interim HR role at cloudBuy and serving as Human Resources Manager at B & M Europe Limited, where management of internal HR issues and the resourcing team was a key responsibility. Matt holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management with Development from Farnborough College of Technology.
