Fred Jacobus

Fred Jacobus, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management within the food manufacturing industry. Since 1998, Fred has served as Vice President of Operations at Diamond Foods, overseeing production, quality, maintenance, and engineering activities across two large-scale manufacturing plants. Previously, as Senior Director of Operations at Diamond Foods, Fred played a key role in expanding the Diamond brand's product range and installing new packaging equipment. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Industrial Engineer at Real Fresh Inc., managing significant expansion and cost reduction projects, and serving as an Industrial Engineer at Del Monte Foods, focusing on capacity analysis and cost efficiency. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
