Josphat Muriithi

Josphat Muriithi is an experienced risk management professional with a career spanning over 15 years in the banking sector. Currently serving at Diamond Trust Bank since April 2022, Josphat specializes in risk management. Previously, Josphat held risk management roles at I&M Bank Ltd, supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer in operational risk management and business continuity efforts. At SBM Bank Kenya, the focus was on regulatory and compliance risk management. Josphat's earlier tenure at NIC Bank Limited included progressive responsibilities from Risk & Compliance Officer to Manager of Risk Management, contributing to operational risk development and environmental governance. Josphat began the career as a Clerical Accounts Analyst at Co-operative Bank of Kenya. Josphat is pursuing an MBA at Africa Nazarene University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Planning from the University of Nairobi.
