Thomaz Whately

Thomaz Whately has extensive experience in finance and M&A roles. Thomaz is currently the Finance and M&A Director at Diaverum, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, Thomaz served as the M&A Latam Director at Diaverum from January 2020 to February 2022, and as the M&A Manager from February 2018 to January 2020. Before joining Diaverum, they worked as an M&A and Strategic Planning Sr. Associate at Biosev from June 2016 to February 2018. Thomaz also served as the M&A and New Business Development Coordinator at Nova Opersan (Patria investment) from October 2012 to June 2016, and as the M&A Senior Analyst at CSN - Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional from January 2012 to October 2012. Thomaz started their career as an Equity Analyst at Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo in May 2009 and worked there until January 2012.

Thomaz Whately has pursued various educational programs throughout their career. In 2005, they attended Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, where they earned a degree in Business Administration. Following this, in 2010, Thomaz attended FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, where they completed a program on Advanced Operation of the Financial Market. Later, in 2014, they returned to Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa to pursue a program in Strategic Negotiation and Conflict Management. In 2015, Thomaz again attended Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, this time completing a program in Strategic Project Management.
