Alex Childs

Alex Childs is a seasoned professional in the fiber optics industry with extensive experience in business and applications development, currently serving as the Business and Applications Development Manager at DiCon Fiberoptics since March 2014. In this role, Alex has been instrumental in developing fiber optic solutions tailored to customer needs across various sectors, including telecommunications, aerospace, fiber sensing, and biomedical applications. Prior positions include roles as an Application Engineer and Sales Engineer, as well as a Production Supervisor in pharmaceuticals. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Minnesota, obtained in 2006.
