Philip Barnard has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Philip is currently working as a Brand Designer at Dictionary.com, where they focus on language development and expanding the business. Prior to this, they ran their own freelance practice called Field Design, where they worked on various visual and brand design projects. Philip also worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at the California Academy of Sciences, contributing to the museum's creative studio and collaborating with different departments. Philip gained experience as a Design Intern at PSY/OPS Type Foundry, creating unique typefaces for tech clients and publishers. Additionally, they served as the CCA Wattis Gallery Manager at the California College of the Arts, supporting the front-of-house experience, and also worked as a Sputnik Brand/Communications Intern, assisting with print and web-based design projects for the college.
Philip Barnard attended the California College of the Arts from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design.
