Rita Carvalho

Rita Carvalho started their work experience in 2016 as a Member of the IEEE UP Student Branch. In 2019, they worked at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory, where they completed their MSc Thesis in 3D Lung Nodule Classification. In the same year, they also joined Euronext as a Data Steward - Trainee, and later became a Junior Data Steward from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, Rita worked at Reckon.ai as a Computer Vision Engineer until December. Currently, they are employed at Didimo as a Computer Vision Engineer since January 2023.

Rita Carvalho obtained their Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering - Automation from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, where they studied from 2013 to 2019. In 2017, they also attended Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) for a short period, but no degree was mentioned. Additionally, Rita Carvalho has obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Computer Vision and Image Processing" from Coursera in February 2022, "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in April 2021, and "Machine Learning" from Coursera in June 2018.
