Luke Barklimore

Luke Barklimore has a diverse work experience. Luke worked as an Engineering Operations Manager at Diffblue starting in January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Head of QA and an Agile Coach at Connectt from September 2017 to December 2019. In these roles, they implemented lean principles, prioritized the engineering backlog, and coached various stakeholders on Agile practices. Before Connectt, Luke worked at Hitachi Data Systems where they served as a Principal Software QA Engineer, Scrum Master, and Senior Software QA Engineer from July 2011 to September 2017. At Hitachi, they co-led a testing working group, participated in a DevOps working group, and used Jenkins for automated regression testing. Luke also gained experience as a QA Engineer at Hitachi from July 2011 to August 2015. Prior to that, they were a Graduate QA Engineer at BlueArc and an IT Support Engineer at Teleca.

Luke Barklimore obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Network Management and Design from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In 2016, they obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
