Rebecca Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rebecca began their career at Boots Plc as a Formulation Technologist, where they developed and improved suncare SPF formulations. Rebecca then moved on to Oriflame as a Suncare Chemist, specializing in skincare formulations with a focus on SPF protection. In 2012, they were promoted to Senior Technology Chemist in the technology team at Oriflame, where they worked on identifying new technologies and trends for future product development.
Rebecca has also held positions in various government agencies, including the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as an AO in the Animal & Plant Health Agency, the Animal and Plant Health Agency as an Office Manager, and the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency as an Administration Officer. Rebecca has also worked briefly at NHS England as a Temporary Assistant and West Mercia Police as a Clerical Assistant.
Most recently, Rebecca worked at Different Dog as a Testing Lead & Ops Support, and later as a Technical Lead & Customer Support.
Rebecca Murphy attended Charlton School from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained their High School degree with a focus on GCSEs. Later, they attended the University of Wolverhampton in Wolverhampton from 2005 to 2008. During their time there, they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Forensic Science.
