Mell Truong

Mell Truong has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative at Tim Hortons. From there, they worked as a Field Marketing Representative at OgilvyAction in 2008, and as a Research Student at the University of Guelph in 2011. Mell then worked as a Customer Service Agent at Serco; DriveTest from 2009 to 2011. In 2009, they also started working at Guess? as a Sales Associate and later became an Assistant Manager. Mell Truong then joined WE.org in 2012, where they held various roles such as Sr. Sales Coordinator, Manager of Events & HNW Clients, Associate Director of Sales Training and Development, and Associate Director of ME to WE Travel Product Development. Mell Truong worked at Canada Student Services Grant as a Recruitment Lead in 2020. In the same year, they started working at Innovation Health Group as the Director of Sales & Partnerships and left in 2022. From 2022 to 2023, they were the Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer at Take It Easy Group. Currently, Mell Truong is the VP of Partnerships at DIG SOUTH Tech Summit, starting in 2024.

Mell Truong obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Honours Marketing Management from the University of Guelph, attending the university from 2006 to 2011. In 2013, Mell Truong also obtained a certification in Standard First Aid & CPR-C. Furthermore, Mell Truong obtained the Smart Serve Ontario certification in 2006.
