Daniel Almonacid

Daniel Almonacid is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Digbi Health, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles such as Head of Data Science & Product Development at Biome Makers Inc. and Senior VP of Science and Innovation at uBiome. With a background in bioinformatics and a Ph.D. in Molecular Informatics from the University of Cambridge, Daniel has led research and development teams, focused on developing diagnostic tests and correlating microbiome functions to human health conditions. Additionally, Daniel has experience as an Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at Universidad Andres Bello and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UCSF. Daniel's expertise extends to international collaborations and conference leadership roles within the scientific community.
