Seija Apila

Seija Apila currently serves as a Specialist in Knowledge Management and Information Management at DigiFinland Oy, with experience spanning over a decade in the field of information technology and consulting. Prior to this role, Seija held the position of Solution Consultant at TietoEVRY, where responsibilities included business intelligence consulting in healthcare and serving as a Scrum Master for reporting and tailored reports. Previous roles at Tieto encompassed consulting and process modeling, as well as application support for patient information systems. Seija began the career as a Software Application Specialist at Wapice Ltd, focusing on customer support for document management systems. An academic background includes a Master of Health Science in Health and Human Services Informatics from the University of Eastern Finland and a Master of Science in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu. Currently, Seija is pursuing Professional Teacher Education at Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
