Tomoko Nakayama

Tomoko Nakayama has a long and impressive career in the pharmaceutical and research industries. Tomoko began their professional journey in 1993 as an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Tomoko then moved on to Vertex Pharmaceuticals in 2000, where they served as a Senior Staff Investigator. In 2005, they joined Alnylam Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director of Research. Finally, in 2013, they assumed the role of Director of Corporate Strategy at Digilab, Inc.

Tomoko Nakayama attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1989, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry.
