Neil Parekh is currently the Vice President of Events & Communications at Digimentors. Neil has over 12 years of experience in marketing and communications, having served in various roles at United Way Worldwide, United Way of Snohomish County, and SEIU Healthcare 775NW.
Neil has a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing and communications campaigns. As the Director of Network Communications for United Way Worldwide, they oversaw communications between headquarters and 13,000 staff in nearly 1,800 communities in more than 40 countries. Neil also produced a daily newsletter that was sent to all 13,000 local staff, conducted an award-winning monthly Twitter Chat called #UnitedWayChat, and provided monthly webinars on a range of marketing and communications topics. In addition, Neil gave dozens of presentations around the country on branding, messaging, social media, public relations, and crisis communications.
Neil’s experience in the nonprofit sector has been invaluable in their current role at Digimentors. Neil has been able to successfully apply their knowledge and skills to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that have helped to increase brand awareness and grow the organization. Neil’s passion for their work is evident in everything they do and they are truly dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
Neil Parekh attended Hastings High School and then Wesleyan University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory.
They are on a team with Jennifer Lazarus - VP, Business Development & Strategy, Rajni Menon - VP, Operations, and Linda Bernstein - VP, Education. Their manager is Andrew Lih, Co-Founder.
