Tim Waltens

Tim Waltens has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT, currently serving as a Cyber Security Project Manager at Digipolis Antwerpen since October 2023, and previously as a Security Consultant at Rank1 since October 2014. Waltens has held various roles, including Security Consultant and SOC Technical Lead at Digipolis from August 2016 to October 2023, and Security Engineer at COFELY FABRICOM - GDF SUEZ GROUP prior to that. Before transitioning to cybersecurity, Waltens worked as a Service Engineer for Siemens and as a Desktop Engineer for Belgacom. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, completed between 2001 and 2004.
