Indika Prematunga

Indika Prematunga has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. Indika is currently the Director and Co-Founder of DIGIServices since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Director at Ceyline Group starting in October 2018. In 2016, they co-founded and served as Director of InsureMe.lk, and also worked as a Director at Smiles Global. Indika has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having served as the Chief Financial Officer at AIA Insurance Lanka PLC / AVIVA NDB Insurance PLC from 2012 to 2016. Indika also held senior finance roles at Union Assurance PLC and Ceyline Group of Companies.

Indika Prematunga completed a Master's Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Colombo in the years 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the postgraduate institute of management (PIM) between 2003 and 2005. Indika also obtained a degree in Finance from the University of Sri Jaya from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they attained a FCMA certification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 1997 to 2000. Lastly, Indika is a Finalist in the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, but the start and end year of this achievement are unknown.
