Nelson Saboya

Nelson Saboya is an experienced specialist in information security, currently serving as the Especialista Seguridad Informatica at Sodimac Colombia S.A since May 2019, where responsibilities include managing the company’s information security operations. Previously, Nelson worked as an Ing Arquitectura at Digiware and held a position as Profesional at Bancoldex from March 2013 to May 2019, focusing on maintaining information security systems. With a background in telecommunications engineering, Nelson possesses expertise in LAN and WAN network administration, firewall management using brands such as Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco ASA, as well as IPS/IDS, antivirus systems, secure email, and event security analysis. Nelson holds a Master's degree in Information Security and Computer Engineering from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) and completed undergraduate studies at Corporación Universitaria UNITEC from 2010 to 2013.
