Vitor Valadares

Vitor Valadares has over 10 years of work experience in the gaming, education, and electronics industries. In 2020, they began working as a Game Client Engineer for DIGIT Game Studios. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Senior Game Developer at Black River Studios, where they were responsible for generalist game programming and leading engineer projects for both mobile and VR. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Game Developer at Feevale University, where they wrote articles and presented educational game results in magazines and events related to games, technology, and education. Vitor also mentored students at the university. In 2014, they worked as a Software Programmer for DigitalDesk. In 2013, they worked as a Game Developer at Universidade Feevale, where they developed artificial intelligence for enemies, bosses, and stage obstacles, as well as implemented systems for characters, movement, skills, camera, VFX, and SFX. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as an Electronic Technician at TECSISTEL SISTEMAS ELETRÔNICOS LTDA, where they were responsible for the assembly, test, and quality assurance of hardware and software/firmware. Vitor was also in charge of translation, maintenance, and application of the internal management system, as well as for the purchase of internal technical materials and for public bids. In 2010, they worked as an Electronic Technician Intern at Tecnodrill Indústria de Máquinas, where they were responsible for the manufacture, installation, tests, and quality assurance of CNC machines, as well as being part of the R&D team working on a project for a dc motor driver.

Vitor Valadares attended Universidade Feevale from 2011 to 2014, earning a Technologist in Digital Games degree in the field of Digital Games. Prior to that, they attended Fundação Escola Técnica Liberato Salzano Vieira da Cunha from 2006 to 2010, where they earned an Electronic Technician degree in Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In 2018, they obtained a Unity Certified Expert: Programmer (GPP) certification from Unity Technologies.
