Abhilash Balan

Abhilash Balan is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Digit Insurance since January 2021, Abhilash previously held similar roles at Bharti AXA General Insurance and has a strong background in information risk management from Kotak Mahindra Bank. With foundational experience in security consulting and technology application security from companies such as ICICI Lombard and Security Brigade, Abhilash has developed a robust skill set in web application security, penetration testing, and compliance. Abhilash holds a PTMBA in Systems from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from St. Gonsalo Garcia College.
