Olakunle Lawal

Olakunle Lawal, MS, is an accomplished professional in information security with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Director of Information Security at Digital.ai, Olakunle has successfully transformed the company network into a Zero-trust architecture, developed security best practices for agile development, and implemented ISO27001/NIST800 standards. Prior roles include Manager of Governance Risk & Compliance at Le Duff America, where Olakunle led cybersecurity compliance initiatives and managed vendor risk programs, as well as an Information Technology Security Analyst position where threats were assessed and mitigated for Harris County. Earlier career experience encompasses roles in security assessment and community policing, coupled with military service as an Operations Supervisor in the US Navy. Olakunle holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Houston Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Dallas, alongside certification as a Prompt Engineer from Vanderbilt University.
