Dustin Jones

Dustin Jones has an extensive work history, starting as an in-store sales clerk for RadioShack in 2009. From 2009-2014, they worked at JPMorgan Chase as both a teller and personal banker. In 2012, they began working as an artist, illustrator, game designer, and animator, collaborating with small teams on various projects. From 2014-2016, they worked for New Leaf Service Contracts LLC in various roles, including contact center agent, pre-approvals and review team member, and contact center supervisor.

In 2016, they worked briefly as a security technician for MasTec Advanced Technologies before moving to Fortress Security, LLC. At Fortress Security, LLC they held three roles: security technician, tech support, and sales engineer. As a tech support specialist, they developed new processes to support technicians and end-users with pre/post installation programming and troubleshooting, and reduced the need for truck-rolls through remote investigation and resolution. As a sales engineer, they developed new policies, procedures, and training guides, and doubled RFI/RFP/RFQ proposal success rates.

In 2021, they joined Axis Communications as an inside sales account manager where they achieved top sales for 2022 in the Americas (Canada, US, LATAM) with Utah/NM team. Throughout their tenure, they directly supported half of the South Central teams during high turnover periods, and mentored and trained new employees. Dustin left Axis Communications in late 2022 to join Digital Barriers as a sales engineer focused on AT&T.

Dustin Jones earned a Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design from Westwood College Online from 2009-2012. In addition, they obtained several certifications in different areas such as Milestone Certified Design Engineer from Milestone Systems, Genetec Certified Professional from Genetec, Axis Certified Professional from Axis Communications, Commercial Fire Alarm Technician from the Texas Department of Insurance, Alarm System Installer from the Texas Department of Public Safety, and Fire Alarm Technician from the Texas Department of Insurance. These certifications were obtained at various times between 2016-2022.
