Jeannine Marquardt is a Wissenschaftliche Koordinatorin at Freie Universität Berlin since July 2020, working within the SFB 1078, and has also served as Projektkoordinatorin for the BIBS II project funded by BMBF. Previously, Jeannine held the position of researcher and project coordinator at the Botanischer Garten und Botanisches Museum Berlin-Dahlem from May 2017 to December 2021. Jeannine’s academic journey includes a visiting PhD student role at the University of Vienna in 2016, and a Marie Curie early stage researcher position at the Natural History Museum London from May 2013 to October 2015. Jeannine earned a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from Queen Mary University of London (2012-2017), a Master of Science in Evolution, Ecology, and Systematics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2009-2011), and a Bachelor of Science in Nature Conservation and Biodiversity from The University of Göttingen (2006-2009).
