Avinash Kumar

Avinash Kumar has a diverse work experience in finance and systems management. Avinash is currently the Head of Finance at Digital Green since 2022. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Project Concern International INDIA, including Head of Finance & Systems from 2017 to 2022, Senior National Manager Finance & Systems from 2020 to 2021, National Manager Finance and Systems from 2017 to 2020, and Acting Director Finance and Systems from 2018 to 2019. Avinash also worked as the HoD Finance & Admin at Action Contre la Faim - France from 2013 to 2017. Avinash began their career as an Assistant Finance Coordinator at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) from 2011 to 2013 and as a Finance Associate at Aga Khan Foundation from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager at RKS Construction Pvt Ltd. from 2009 to 2010 and as an Account Executive at the same company from 2005 to 2007. Avinash holds a B.B.A degree.

Avinash Kumar's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from ICFAI Business School Kolkata (IBS Kolkata), which they attended from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, General from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Avinash Kumar has obtained several certifications. Avinash received an edX Verified Certificate for Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles from Harvard University in July 2022. Avinash also obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Strategic Management from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in July 2022. Earlier, in April 2013, they obtained a Diploma in IFRS from KPMG India.
