Sam Hall

Sam Hall (FBCS) currently serves as the Director of Primary, Community Care and Mental Health Digital Services at Digital Health and Care Wales since November 2022. Previously, Sam was the Local Government Chief Digital Officer for Wales at The Welsh Local Government Association from November 2020 to November 2022, and CIO & Assistant Director of ICT & Digital at Birmingham City Council from January 2020 to November 2020. Sam's extensive experience at the Office for National Statistics from April 2001 to November 2020 included multiple roles such as Head of Customer Support & Digital Development, Head of Publishing Operations, Interim Head of Rich Content, Deputy Director of Business Architecture, and Head of Customer Service. Sam holds a degree from Cardiff University, earned between 1995 and 1997, and possesses a strong background in website development, business change management, and digital services.
