Geneviève Routhier has an extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Geneviève is currently the Head of Art at DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB), where they are responsible for the long-term vision and support of the art team, with a focus on the Battlefield franchise.
Before joining DICE, they worked at UBISOFT Montpellier as a Senior Art Director and Project Art Director for Beyond Good and Evil 2. In these roles, they developed and communicated the global visual identity of the game, established graphics charts and guidelines, and worked closely with the art directors and associates to ensure a consistent visual experience.
Prior to that, Geneviève worked as a Freelance Art Director and Strategic Vision Art Advisor, as well as an Art Director and Lead Artist at LuckyHammers. Geneviève also played a crucial role in building the art department and establishing the initial art direction at Reflector Entertainment Ltd.
Geneviève has also worked at Nvizzio Creations Inc. and Ubisoft Montréal. At Ubisoft Montréal, they held various roles such as Lead Artist, Marketing Associate Art Director, and Associate Art Director, where they provided art direction for marketing material and managed art teams.
Earlier in their career, Geneviève worked at DC Studios as a Lead 3D/2D artist, where they established art direction for multiple projects and managed art deliverables.
Geneviève started their career as an illustrator at BJEC.

Geneviève Routhier's education history began in 1998 when they attended Collège Marsan. Geneviève pursued a program in Infographie et traitement numérique des images and obtained an AEC degree in the same year. In 1999, Geneviève enrolled at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal where they graduated with a DEC degree in Dessin animé in 2002. In 2002, they attended École des arts numériques, de l'animation et du design (NAD) for a year, focusing on Jeux vidéos. From 2013 to 2017, Geneviève pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Digital Arts at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.
