Claudia Avalos, MD-PhD, has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Claudia began their career as a Research Assistant at Florida State University, where they conducted research in mathematics, biology, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. During this time, they contributed to the development of a 2D mathematical model and discovered a new chemical reaction.

Claudia then joined Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where they pursued their Ph.D. in research. Here, Claudia created a new cellular quantification assay related to HIV infection and discovered a new viral reservoir, resulting in publications and recognition at an international HIV summit. Additionally, they led cross-functional teams and managed multiple scientific projects.

Subsequently, Claudia worked at MedStar Health as an OBGYN Resident Physician. In this role, they proposed strategic solutions in Women's Health, provided care to women during labor and delivery, and performed obstetric and gynecological surgeries.

Currently, Claudia is employed at Digital Infuzion, where they hold the position of Data & Program Metrics Analysis Team Lead.
