Edwin Yapp

Edwin Yapp has over 25 years of professional experience. Edwin began their career in 1995 as an Engineer at Maxis Networks in Malaysia. In 2001, they moved to The Star Publication as a Journalist. In 2007, they were the Managing Editor at inSight Editorial Services. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Co-founder & senior editor and Contributing Editor at Digital News Asia. From 2016 to 2019, they were an Executive Consultant at Tech Research Asia. Edwin is currently a Southeast Asian Contributor at ComputerWeekly.com and IDG (International Data Group).

Edwin Yapp attended Bukit Bintang Boys School from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained their SPM. Edwin then attended Nottingham Trent University from 1994 to 1995, where they obtained their BEng in Electrical Engineering. Edwin also obtained a Maxis Train the Trainer Certification from the Maxis Academy.
