Matthew Cosgrove

Matthew Cosgrove is an experienced professional in monitoring and evaluation, currently serving as Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Digital Opportunity Trust since April 2018. In this role, Matthew supports the organization’s global M&E goals, engages with country teams to develop best practices, and leads research on social impact assessments. Previously, Matthew acted as Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor at DOT, contributing to reporting within a Results-Based Management framework. Additionally, Matthew has served as Insights Manager at DECODE, managing client-oriented research and developing methodologies for urban studies. Earlier experience includes roles as Online Content Editor at Esency and Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Carleton University. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in Geography from Carleton University and an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Specific Learning Disabilities from Cambrian College.
