Xavier Dugros has had a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and consulting fields. Xavier started their career with internships at REHAU and Valeo in 2003 and 2004 respectively, where they gained knowledge in areas such as CAD, FEA, and fatigue analysis.
In 2004, Dugros joined Digital Product Simulation (DPS) as a CAE Analysis and Optimization Specialist. Xavier then progressed to the role of Consulting & Engineering Services Manager in 2007, where they led the consulting team in the domain of Process, Method & Tools for Innovation. During this time, their expertise expanded to include areas such as CAD-CAE interoperability, structural and parametric optimization, process automation, and software development.
Dugros is currently serving as the Managing Director at DPS, a position they took on in January 2011. In this role, they are responsible for leading project delivery, research and technology, and formulating the strategic vision of the company across various consulting streams. Xavier'stechnical domains of expertise cover topics including Digital Continuity, SPDM, PLM, MBSE, as well as advanced modeling and simulation techniques including process simulation and advanced optimization methodologies.
Xavier Dugros began their education in 1999 at Lycée Pierre De Fermat, where they completed a 2-year intensive undergraduate program in Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanical sciences. From 2001 to 2004, they attended ENSTA Bretagne, where they obtained a Master's degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation.
