Ginnie Seger

Ginnie Seger is an award-winning digital storyteller who believes that stories can connect people and create a more empathetic world. She brings more than 15 years of experience in video production to Digital Promise. She’s shot, produced, and edited video content all over the world for the State Department’s flagship account, including an award-winning video on the success of HIV/AIDS programs in rural Kenya. Ginnie is a returned Peace Corps volunteer, where she served as a teacher at a school for the deaf in Embu, Kenya.

She earned her master’s degree in international media from American University and her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ginnie is a founding board member of the educational non-profit, Northstar Tutoring and has volunteered there as a tutor for 10 years.
