Santiago Maximo Caram

Santiago Maximo Caram is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the field of technology. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer at Digital Sense since April 2022, Santiago Maximo Caram specializes in natural language processing (NLP) projects, evaluating architectures utilizing advanced large language models and traditional NLP techniques. Prior experience includes a seven-year tenure at Poder Judicial de la República Oriental del Uruguay from May 2015 to May 2022, where Santiago Maximo Caram contributed as an R&D Engineer and IT Specialist, focusing on new technology research and the administration of virtual machines. Additionally, Santiago Maximo Caram worked as a SysAdmin at BPS-Banco de Prevision Social from December 2012 to December 2014, managing software applications and services for the Uruguayan E-government platform. Currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science & Machine Learning at Universidad de la República, Santiago Maximo Caram also holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
