Bob Kanick

Bob Kanick is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software development and nuclear engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at DigitalGlobe, Inc. since October 2003, Kanick is responsible for the full software life-cycle of satellite orbit determination processing software and has contributed to various software packages for satellite operations and communication. Previous roles include Programmer Analyst at United Airlines, where Kanick modernized maintenance documentation systems, Consultant/Trainer in Nuclear Core Design at NOK in Switzerland, Reactor Core Designer at Westinghouse Electric Co., and Reactor Engineer at Pacific Gas & Electric Co./Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Bob Kanick holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State University.
