Ron Bolton

Ron Bolton has substantial experience in software development and engineering management, currently serving as the Software Development Manager for Mission Control at DigitalGlobe since March 2011. In this role, Ron leads Agile software development teams responsible for the mission control and remote ground stations of DigitalGlobe's earth imaging satellites. Prior to this, Ron held various engineering and management positions, including Principal Engineer at Seagate Technology, where Ron led the development of hard drive features compliant with the FIPS-140 standard, making Seagate the first major vendor to achieve this certification. Ron also managed software and hardware development teams at Aztek Engineering and held senior engineering roles at Novell and VNI. Ron began the career as a Software Engineer at NBI after completing a BA in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
