Misti Ushio

Misti Ushio serves as Managing Partner at Digitalis Ventures and Board Director at Digitalis Commons since January 2023. Previously, Misti held the position of CEO at TARA Biosystems from March 2016 to April 2022, and served as Managing Director & Chief Strategy Officer, as well as Vice President, at Harris & Harris Group from 2011 to 2016 and 2007 to 2011, respectively. Prior to these roles, Misti was a Technology Licensing Officer at Columbia University for nearly a year and worked as a Senior Research Chemical Engineer at Merck from 1995 to 2006. Misti Ushio holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from UCL.
