Jennifer Hicks

Jennifer Hicks is a Principal Designer at DigitalOcean, where involvement began in July 2017, focusing on rebuilding the design team and culture amid the company’s growth and product expansion. Prior experience includes roles as an Independent Design Consultant specializing in strategic innovation, Founder of Killer inc., Vice President of Product at Pager Inc., Experience Design Director at McKinsey Digital Labs, User Experience Director for Amplify Education, Senior Interaction Designer at frog design, and Senior Designer at AOL Entertainment. Jennifer holds an MFA in Design + Technology from Parsons School of Design and a BFA in Communication Design from the University of Connecticut. In addition to professional roles, Jennifer taught as an adjunct professor at Parsons, introducing design and technology concepts to graduate students.
