Warren Allen has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Part-Time Freelance Writer at All About Jazz from 2008 to 2012. Warren then worked as an Editorial Department member at Performer Magazine from January 2008 to April 2008. In 2010, they served as a Legal Intern at the Center for Justice & Democracy, where they conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on civil justice issues.

Moving forward, Warren joined the Chambers of Hon. Justice Joan A. Madden, New York Supreme Court, as a Judicial Intern from January 2011 to May 2011. In 2012, Warren became a Graduate Fellow at the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications, working with their legal department. Here, they drafted memoranda of law, reviewed contracts, and dealt with issues of federal/state law and city litigation matters.

Currently, Warren is associated with the Diligent Corporation. Warren started as an Assistant General Counsel in February 2013 and has since progressed to Associate General Counsel in July 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President and Associate General Counsel, serving in a senior leadership role. The exact end date for this position is not provided.

Warren Allen obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Brooklyn Law School, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Warren also earned a certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP in January 2016.
